Hey gang,

We've recently received word that a group of incels is planning on trolling and spamming WP. As I don't have either the time or the patience to deal with whiny manbabies, the rule of thumb is: if it looks like an incel, talks like an incel, and walks like an incel, it's an incel, and they're getting the boot.

This also includes obvious attempts at spamming which can take a variety of forms, such as creating a bunch of new topics in a short period of time, reviving a bunch of old topics in a short period of time, or posting the same exact thing in multiple threads.

If you spot any of this crap before we do, please flag it.

Happy new year! We (members) appreciate your work here as moderators. Most Forums end up falling to the "horde" but WP is still going strong and hopefully it stays that way.

There seems to be a lot of it but if it's deliberate than that makes sense.

It's just that there's a certain group which preaches an ideology of hopelessness.

Which renders the "hopeless" even more "hopeless."

The ideology is dead wrong. There is no basis for it.

They’ll be easy to spot. They’re coming from an incel forum where photos and videos of members from a forum I am a moderator on have been being shared. I’ve been checking it to make sure they haven’t shared anything else from there. They seem proud of their trolling on here.

It might be a good idea to be more careful about posting photos here, which I’m sure everyone already is. We had to add a limit on the other forum I go on so that new members need a certain amount of posts before they can see the member photo albums section. People like them start threads with people’s photos to say “this person can’t call themselves an incel!” or “she thinks she’s attractive!” and they say some very horrible things, like “this person needs to be attacked.” They’re very hateful, and they mostly target women because they don’t believe women can have any problems.
