Hi,

I am a student of the Masters in Autism Adults at University of Birmingham. For my dissertation research project I would like to study the experiences of taking exams for autistic university students.

RESEARCH ON THE EXPERIENCE OF AUTISTIC STUDENTS ABOUT EXAM SUPPORT

I would like to know about your experience of access arrangements in exams.

WHAT IS REQUIRED?
• I will arrange a small online focus group.
• I will use a private group on facebook.
• 5 or 6 students can tell me about their experiences of taking exams.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN THE FOCUS GROUP?
• I will post some questions asking about your experience of taking exams at university.
• You and the other students can answer the questions, chat with each other about your experiences or respond to comments using the ‘like’ feature.

WHO AM I LOOKING FOR?
• Autistic students who are enrolled at a UK university and have experience of taking exams as part of their course.
• Recent graduates can also take part.

If you would like to take part or know more you can email me at [email protected]

Thank you
Samantha Clifford
