When I was a young, I definitely felt a hormonal pull toward sexuality, but considered all its forms to be fantasy. I never felt attraction toward anyone I met, although I could tell you if they were attractive.

The best way I've been able to describe my asexuality is that I could always tell when I was in a sexual situation because it was usually when someone's tongue was in my mouth. Then I was like, "Oh, I think maybe we're supposed to have sex or something."

You have to spin the fact that if I weren't ACE [and a trans-woman] I'd probably be a straight woman. Most of the situations I was presented with, in my youth, were with other women, but they saw a man.
