Recently it's been Keep Yourself Alive by Queen. Woke up with it going through my head, and its been going through it, off and on, all day.

usually the songs that go through my head are "on shuffle"... I was singing something from the Deadsoul Tribe to myself a few minutes ago... think it was "Lost in You"..

Constantly in my mind the line from Green Day-Jesus of Suburbia:

I don't care if you don't
I don't care if you don't
I don't care if you don't care...

Classical music tends to etch on my brain in away that I can
replay it in my mind. But not whole composition but merely
rifts of it. I have some opera rift in my mind now that I
desperately wish I remembered the name of. :)

Among the happiest time of my life was at college and I remembered I liked Tannhäuser. I was on zoloft at the time.
Years later after I was home and not taking meds and then
started again the music played in my mind. It was like my
mind associated happiness, SSRI's and Tannhäuser. :)

Here is an instrumental version though I prefer one with singing.

Like someone mentioned earlier, my mind also has a tendency to go through a "shuffle mode". 'Sympathy for the Devil' is one that comes up often, but earlier it was 'Mr. Sandman' and 'Sunrise, Sunset' from Fiddler on the Roof.

Damn...writing that started 'Tevye's Dream'.

Am I the only one who thinks that the butcher's name sounds like something from Power-Rangers?

Right now my head is ringing with the dense avalanche of grunge that was the Smashing Pumpkins' "Cherub Rock." I love it, but... it's smothering me...

I've been looping on the same album for over a month now. It's common for me to get locked into a particular artist for a period of time, but it doesn't usually last quite this long.

Wow, you must really like Jackson Browne.

Those echo in my head as well.

Lately it's been some Chet Atkins tunes:
Windy and Warm
Hot Toddy
Rainbow
Yakety Axe, with Mark Knopfler

Not Yakkity Sax? (I'm a big Benny Hill fan)
