Hello! My name is Jordan, and I am a 20 year old female. I was diagnosed with autism in February 2023, and I often feel lonely because I struggle with friendships. I'm looking to connect with more autistic people and maybe find some friends!

My interests are: singing, guitar, medical dramas, Star Wars, French language, teaching French, autism, ballet, crochet, and horses/cats/dogs. I work part time as a French teacher/tutor which I love.

as for your interests, i also like ballet! i did ballet for most of my life but stopped after high school.

I'm sure you're going to see a significant quality of life improvement due to having a lot better idea as to how to deal with various things that come up for all of us.

Welcome to Wrong Planet.

Loneliness. Yes that is a problem that many Aspies feel. We are people with few words. But when we speak often times no one is really listening.

I would describe us as deep thinkers. We want to participate but by the time we insert our thoughts, everyone else has moved on to another thought pattern or another one beyond that. They have switched to other subjects and we are generally out of place.

Anyways that is my thoughts.

Yeah pretty much just Star Wars lol. I'm not actually a huge sci-fi person, I'm more into fantasy (and really Star Wars doesn't have a lot of sci-fi).

Star wars isn't deep, but it is a lot of fun and a massive spectacle. Not everything needs to be an art house film to be of interest.
