Rafael Nadal looks as though he has a good shot as wrapping up the year-end Number One position.

Roger Federer won his hometown tournament at Basel, Switzerland.

Nobody saw these things coming at the beginning of the year, but I was hoping for it. This has been one outstanding tennis year!

Had a really nice birthday, got loads of great presents and even went out to have dinner at a nice restaurant. It was a great time and probably one of the best birthdays I have ever had :)

I was in a really bad way anxiety wise at the end of the last year. Every day was 24/7 anxiety, I was barely sleeping and when I was sleeping I was getting nightmares. I told myself that 2018 would be the year that I deal with it and whilst it's been a really difficult 6 months I really saw some progress this week. I stood up for myself at work rather than staying quiet like I usually would, I chatted to a shop assistant about a dvd I was buying and I told a friend a secret I've had for ages that I thought she'd reject me for if I told her (she didn't :) ). I feel so full of energy and enthusiasm. I've fully accepted that I'm weird and that people aren't always going to understand me but I don't care and I'm ready to embrace life and get what I want out it!
