I just finished This Is the Way the World End, by Jen Wilde. I really enjoyed it especially because the author and the main character are queer and autistic! It was really nice to read a fictional story with such a relatable character. I think it is the first time I’ve heard the word neurodivergent in a book that isn’t non-fiction. I’ve been doing a lot of research and just finished NeuroTribes: The Legacy of Autism and the Future of Neurodiversity which was great but This is the way the World Ends was a nice light, fun read!
