Hi, my name is Danny

I am 43 years old and I’ve just been diagnosed with ASD.

I have an 11-year-old son, a greyador dog and an amazing girlfriend.

I work for a bank in an administrator role and I love my job.

My interests are music. I love camping and any other interest that may come along from time to time.

Two recommendations:

(1) If a conversation here gets unpleasant you don't need to leave WP, just leave that conversation.

(2) And some advice I could've used when I joined...it sounds like you are doing well for yourself. GREAT! Just remember that some of the people here are having a rough time in life and try to be gentle and understanding. (I started with the wrong expectation that just because I was "high-functioning" so was everyone else here. Not so! There are some people here who are having difficulty getting along...but they are likely really nice people, anyways!)
