Sounds like you're ready to start watching NASCAR. 8)

I always assumed those of us on the American continent didn't really differentiate between bars and pubs to begin with.

in the UK, pubs and bars are often visually very different. Things are laid out differently, and usually pubs have tables for eating and are more old-fashioned/traditional looking in a lot of cases.

Bars are often aesthetically modern looking or have a particular theme & are more focussed on selling drinks than any kind of edible food.

Ah, my post was more directed at funeralxempire's previous post.

I have been going to this one particular bar occasionally now for many years and in that time it really has destroyed my confidence seeing women flirt with other guys and not me.

I think a lot of the time men who are under average height have a hard time getting girls in these superficial meat markets. Women of all different heights can get laid on nights out though which is brutal double standards.

Why don’t you try some place else besides the meat market?

Lots of women don’t care about height. The last guy I went on a date with was shorter than you are.

Sometimes people blame their height when their inability to get a date has more to do with putting people off due to their behavior or not really trying to begin with.

I think house parties can be better places to connect with people. 10 years back this drunk girl I knew even sat on my lap without me even asking her. Really think women should take the initiative to do that more despite some people disagreeing with me.

Women should do whatever feels right and safe to them.

Drunk people do stupid things.

There's a reason why women aren't approaching you and it's not because you're autistic.

What's your drink of choice?
idk if I have a definitive favorite. I’ve been trying some light beers like Busch Light and Coors Light.

Honestly you should be trying more local brews, Iowa has a lot of good beer. If you like, anything amber/maripan is good. Ask the bartender for recommendations. TBH, going out to a bar just to get something like a busch light is fine, but I personally wouldn't do it. You can get that beer wherever, especially all over the midwest.
I get where you’re going with that, but here’s the problem; the house I’m living at is run by a living agency which doesn’t allow alcohol, so I gotta go elsewhere to have drinks. And idk what it is about me, but I like trying things out that I hear are so popular.

Are you from or near IA? That first part seemed to come from a real place of knowledge. Lol.
