imdb's self-defeating greedy pop ups

I assume you noticed their latest block-half-the-screen popups... I just can't believe how greedy people are, and this is entirely the fault of monopolies and the failure of antitrust to regulate them... but it's so self-defeating, as now I absolutely need to block them entirely since I can't even damn use the goddamn site! And, honestly, I didn't mind looking at them every so often, especially if they were relevant, but not every f*****g time I click elsewhere! f**k Jeff Bezos, I swear...

Do you use an adblocker of any kind?

why did imdb take away the message boards?

I've been trying to find something that blocks them on android as that's where I usually read trivia, but so far all vpns tend to blank out the ad, with the popup still intruding... I think 'brave' on maximum blocking might do it, though... still need to test it more.
