I think she might be approaching the wrong types of guys. I woulda been ecstatic if a model came on to me & I knew she was for real & she acted like a decent person towards me. I do my very best to try & make my relationships work.

Some women get shocked to learn that good men… have personality/goals-based standards too.




Yes, there’s no wide appreciation for insta models among men, and for a good reason.

She sounds like an expensive date:

That's true. Since she's a model with those criteria in a partner I think she might be wanting to be a throphy girlfriend. If so the negative stigma she's facing in the dating world due to her modeling is warranted in her case. However if I had won the lottery or came into a lot of money some other way when I was single, I wouldn't have minded spending a lot on a woman interested in dating me if she acted nice towards me.

I’m sure there’s some Instagram models out there who play Call of Duty. Here’s one, sort of. (I didn’t put forth any time or energy into my search because I really don’t care. I just don’t like to judge people based off of their physical appearance UNLESS they are tall, blonde, male athletes.)

I knew a guy who was into video games, but he didn’t want a relationship with a woman who was because he didn’t think that was feminine. He’s currently having an extremely disappointing sex life, so perhaps I shouldn’t pick on him too much.

^ There’s a lot of those on Twitch too, they go for markets where desperate males are more likely to be found and their constant need for visual grafitation.

Instagram modeling’s main source of income is male sexual desperation, same for OnlyFans. That’s why OnlyFans is a success. If men were like women, I would say such industry wouldn’t even exist.

I bet the creators of OnlyFans got inspired from live instagram models as they have witnessed the ridiculous numbers of male followers these models get, some models make tons of money from ads they promote in their photos and videos.
Good for them, but I don’t want to date one.

I don’t really get it. Why don’t “desperate males” just look at porn or something? It seems sort of creepy to follow models unless the content is centered around a mutual interest.

What are women like? I’m not really sure myself. It seems like we like different things.

They cater for a different need than porn: interaction.

Or at least a glimpse of interaction.

When I was young and unhappily single, it wouldn’t have occurred to me to seek interaction like that. It‘s empty and fake. Wouldn’t it be to most “desperate males?”

I think that kind of thing is empty & fake too, though I have met the odd male who thinks otherwise. Perhaps there are more of those types of people than one might think?

Maybe it’s better for them to follow models on Instagram than to engage in the sort of behavior I experienced from desperate males, especially between 15-25 years ago.

Of course, I suppose one thing doesn’t preclude the others.

I think I have more respect for used car salesmen than anyone who self-describes as an influencer.

Well I am an android girl, but my boyfriend has an iphone...but his parents pay for that, so idk I guess if I could have a free phone and it was iphone I couldn't complain. But I prefer android so I don't think I'd ever switch to an iphone but no chance my parents would pay for one for me anyways so I am in no danger of getting an iphone thurst upon me.

An influencer is someone who exerts influence over their target audience in some way. With Instagram models, it’s probably often about promoting certain makeup brands/products and clothes.
