How do you butter your toast

I don't usually butter bread but when I do I'm a clumper due to having bad fine motor-skills. The personality description for clumper is the opposite of me. If I had better fine motor-skills I would aim for total coverage. The description for total coverage sounds kinda like me in some ways but not others. I do like routein & predictability & having plans but my organizational skills can vary a lot. Lots of things seem very difficult or impossible for me to organize due to various disabilities or me lacking necessary skills. Sometimes I just don't see a reason to organize because it seens like giving myself completely needless work. Other times I start orginizing & then get overwhelmed, frustrated I cant get it right, or I start finding it very tedious & losing focus so I give up or take an extended break.

I butter my toast on the top, otherwize the butter will drip off and end up on the floor if I butter the underneath of the toast.

My method is not shown. I melt butter on a griddle, place the bread in it and then grill it to the desired browness on both sides. What does that say about me?

Have you seen the price of butter these days. I'm surprised you can afford to put it on in slices.

I'm a mix of barely there and total coverage. I don't like a lot, but I want it even. Both seem to have things I'd say, yeah that fits, and both have me saying nope to other aspects.

My daughter likes it barely there. When I make her toast I spread it on and then spread it off.
