It says on my LG tv it says that it does not suppourt HDR.

Are there cables you can buy that could enable HDR on my television or do I have to get an entirely new TV?

Sounds like you need a new TV if you want the benefits of HDR.

its possible you can still have 4K on your TV without having HDR support. 4K has to to with resolution and pixel density. HDR deals with color, contrast and brightness levels. It really depends on your TV's specs and your media source and playback equipment.

Generally though your TV supports 4K or not. Its not something that can be enabled after the fact.
