Why is this all happening now ?

There has been one grandad, my dad's dad who passed away a week and now my other grandad, my mum's dad is very unwell and showing signs that his body is slowing down and has been in hospital a number times and his doctors feel they can't do no more. My mum has decided tomorrow to go down with brother to France where my grandparents live to see them. I seem to feel the abruptness of the news I've heard is making me feel worried about having an anxiety attack and feel quite numb inside.
