Hi there. I introduced myself a couple of months ago. Yesterday I was diagnosed with level 1 autism. My RAADS result was 151. In February I’ll make other tests to evaluate a HIP, which she thinks very possible. I feel great! I had already stopped masking my autism and now I stopped completely. Little by little I’ll make my coming out with friends and family. Not ashamed at all. Actually I am pretty proud.

Well done and all the best. I could sure have had a better high school and youth experience had I been diagnosed 25 or 30 years sooner! It was a relief when it happened and changed many things for the better. You're on a voyage of discovery!

Many times people use abbreviations believing everyone knows what they mean.

RAADS is Ritvo Autism & Asperger Diagnostic Scale

RAADS is a psychological self-rating scale developed by Dr. Riva Ariella Ritvo. An abridged and translated 14 question version was then developed at the Department of Clinical Neuroscience at the Karolinska Institute, to aid in the identification of patients who may have undiagnosed Autism Spectrum Disorder.

HIP: High Intellectual Potential (HIP) and High Functioning Autism (HFA) are two different conditions sharing some clinical and neurobiological features.

That's great that you've stopped masking, Missmagoo.
I never knew how to mask, so I've stopped socialising with people instead.
It makes my stress-load lightyears lighter.

I have a professional diagnosis, but the test is valid for understanding and reliable.

Then the doctors take care of outlining everything.

You are not a broken toy.

I would like that score to decrease.

I have very high values.

We have enormous deficits, but enormous advantages.

And usually special talents.

For the aspie quiz always check that it is the latest version.

You have 191 and no peaks in the graph.

It means that if they helped you you could work on different parameters.

I have peaks and these don't allow me many variations on the theme.

*Maybe it will turn out to be lucky for you.
