Poor level of suppourt in college

I've done some teaching myself too, so I'll give the professors the benefit of the doubt, they're trying to do a good job (most of them) and I wouldn't assume complete lack of competence, however, there are some communication issues that might stem from lack of awareness. Especially if someone doesn't stand out as having issues like me. It's important to foster the communication.
