So if I did this correctly, I’m going to live in a shack, marry Uriah, honeymoon in Switzerland, have zero children, be a writer, have a horse-drawn carriage, and own a dung beetle. Apart from the dung beetle thing, it sounds pretty awesome. I was really hoping it’d be Uriah. Hopefully, the shack is in some pleasant location.

Once you are down to one choice in a category, I don’t think you continue counting it as you go back through, right? I seem to remember my friends and I circling it.

I'm on the aromantic spectrum, but there were, if nothing else, feelings for other kids that I just assumed were crushes at the time. May have been, may have just been friendship feelings that I assumed were puppy love bc they were directed at the opposite gender. (I had similar feelings for some of the same gender as well, but I never assumed those were crushes.)

After getting diagnosed, I attended a new school during 6th grade where I met another boy my age. Though he wasn't on the spectrum, he had ADD and was a bit neurodiverse. He liked me back and seemed to get me. However, the biggest drawback was that he was controlling at times and also had other emotional problems. He also tried to pressure me into things that I didn't want to do.

Long story short, I cut all ties with him and just moved on Jr. High and met someone else.
