So me and my boyfriend were trying to make a sort of stir fry slop with rice, vegtables, ground turkey and pork sausage with either peanut or sesame stir fry sauce.

But somehow they packaged Italian sausage as plain sausage, I double checked the package to make sure we didn't just grab the wrong one and we didn't. Either way that won't go very good with the flavor profile we were going for. Luckily we already had some pasta sauce so we can use that.

Have any of you guys ever gotten something with the wrong thing in the package?

Luckily, my food has always been packaged correctly and with the correct contents, to my knowledge.

I don't think so, but that's really not good.
Imagine if the person had allergies or it made them sick.
I think it should be reported for quality control, at least to the store.

do people have allergies to italian sausage ingredients? I did think of trying to like report it somehow at least to let people know their regular pork sausage for breakfast might actually be italian sausage, but couldn't really find a way to do so. And didn't want to leave a bad review on the specific store since it was clearly something that happened in manufacturing, not in the store.

The last thing you want is an Italian sausage if you've ordered a plain one.

I think I got the wrong peas in my order the other day but I didn't bother to check because it didn't make much difference to my meal.

I'm pretty sure I ordered garden peas but marrowfat ones came. Still delicious so I'm not complaining

They only had one job. Did they have to mess it up?

I just don't understand how they can get the two mixed up.

I'm pretty sure that in our supermarket the Italian sausages are in a completely different fridge to the plain ones.

Even I would struggle to get the two mixed mixed up and I'm not even a sausage expert.

I should have put an Italian sausage on my Sainsbury's online shop to see if this is an international problem

The artisan bread sometimes has the wrong label

Both products the same cost. A customer might have an allergy and file a lawsuit though
