Is it ''abnormal'' for a 25 or 30 year old to be a virgin ?

If I do end up having my first kiss with Jonathan next weekend then I will have no choice but to leave the criminal Jerry!! !
Everything hinges upon that right now!
See how it goes. Just don't overly worry about the specifics of it all. First sexual encounters with a new person range from people who known each other for years and only having sex after marriage to complete strangers after a few seconds. It's surprising how much it varies. Location and what leads up to it is different for everyone.
That is all I can do right now
IDK what he has planned for us that day
It would NOT be a sexual encounter though!
The first kiss comes first
Then he will start inviting me to his house or vice-versa and I will FINALLY lose my virginity!! !
EDIT: I might want to buy some breath mints just in case!
And some sexy lingerie

It doesn't have to be. It can be sooner or later but it's important to read what the other person is roughly expecting.
3 months might actually be a good rule for Sara. I would like to know where she found that, though.

3 months seems like a while in this day and age.
I have waited SO long for sex, what's 3 more months?
If it's with Jonathan I have to get to know him more first before we can get intimate!
Besides that will give me enough time to:
-Go to the OBGYN and get a Pap smear to be put on birth-control
-Go to dentist and get my teeth fixed
-Go to a store and purchase lingerie

Is getting your teeth fixed and owning lingerie a necessity for having sex?
You should do what you think is best/appropriate, in any case.

Well no but I want to look good and sexy so lingerie is a good idea to prepare for my first REAL sexual encounter!

Going on birth control may not be necessary if your partner has a vasectomy. I discussed this before, but I'll just say that a vasectomy poses no medical risk to a man, however any sort of hormone-based birth control does pose risks to a woman, and you may not want to take those risks. It's possible that the person you would theoretically choose to have sex with does have a vasectomy, but of course it would be too soon to ask. I would put this on the back burner for now.
"Getting your teeth fixed" would cost an arm and a leg and take longer than 3 months. If you have guys asking you on dates, then they are already attracted to you and there's no need. I would forget about that.
Lingerie: might want to consider it, especially if you're self-conscious about a guy seeing you totally naked. Maybe something simple like this:

Although you can probably find something less expensive if you shop around. I personally hate the thought of crotchless etc. but that's just me.
But again, way too soon for this sort of thing.

I have no idea if Jonathan or Jesse or whoever I end up dating has had a vasectomy and I'm not sure if that would even be necessary at least right now
Getting my teeth fixed really has NOTHING to do with sex and has more to do with kissing and being able to chew hard foods again in case he takes me to a restaurant with steak or some other hard food
That is exactly what I was thinking with lingerie
It would give me confidence to feel sexy but not have to completely get naked!
You're right
I MUST wait at least 3 months but it should all be worth it!! !

Sure it's "unusual" or even "abnormal" but some people just take longer to prepare and be in the right frame of mind for doing something
Especially sex!
Don't worry, we will ALL get there!! !
Eventually...

Sorry, I thought you meant getting your teeth fixed "cosmetically". If your teeth are in such a bad condition, you should make dental care a priority. There are most certainly resources for that where you live. Have you discussed this with your support people? Full disclosure: my father-in-law and brother-in-law were are dentists, so I may have an exaggerated sense of the importance of dental health.

I'm not sure it's inherently value loaded, it's only harsh if one assumes abnormal to be inherently negative.
Being autistic is inherently abnormal.
