Autism Awareness Month is on the horizon. That means things will be lit up blue. I'm not going to do red instead with The Kinks or turn it off black with The Beatles. I'm going to be myself and keep my current avatar through the month of April. I'm not going to let Autism Speaks ruin my favourite colour or avatar for a 30 day period.

My neighbour will do hit fruit when he goes to the bin area and sees that someone has emptied a full beanbags worth of beans all over the place

I can just picture him now with his yard brush. He'll be spitting feathers.

TL;DR: Stevia has a distinct aftertaste; there were a lot of people who didn't like the flavour profile, the marketing didn't resonate and a reformulation of Coke Zero cannibalized most of the sales.

Coca-Cola Stevia was briefly introduced in Canada and New Zealand but later discontinued as part of streamlining efforts.

I'm still waiting for Mello Yello to return.

I regret never having tried it.

I would do if it came to market again, but I doubt it'll ever see the light of day.

It didn't last very long in the UK at all. It sounds like it was withdrawn back in '17. I think it lasted ~2 more years in Canada.

Canada and New Zealand briefly got Coca Cola Stevia but that's a different formulation. It's not available here anymore. It'd be nice if some Kiwis could chime in about if it's still available down there.

I remember going to the World of Coca Cola in Atlanta years ago and getting to sample coke flavors and products made around the world. :drunken:

I still have the tin signs on my wall depicting coca cola ads with ladies in Victorian dresses that I bought from their gift shop.

Cool. I like the aesthetics of that era's ads.

Yeah I like them too

I remember a coca cola mirror when I was a kid. I think it was my sister's. The design was like one of those pictures

Yeah I have a thing for Victorian era art myself. Even their ads were like a work of art because many were handrawn. :)

I also have a thing for Victorian era lady fashions. Which is odd given that the corsets they wore were so tight most women from that time literally weren't expected to live long healthy lives (due to the rib damaged they suffered trying to get the "ideal hourglass shape").

I got to see an actual Victorian era corset at a museum once and the hole around the waist was so tiny not even my fist could have fit through it. 8O

Wow that's thin. Imagine the average sized woman these days trying to squeeze into one of those.

I know right? People talk about "the bra burning era" for feminism and sexual liberation in the 1960's and 1970's.

I can imagine many women were even happier to burn those corsets.
