Wow. So many of you guys have unorganized desktops. Mine is the most organized I have ever seen. All of my icons are in alphabetical order and none of my downloads are saved to the desktop.

Well... my icons are organised in my own way. I only save d/ls to the desktop till I mive them to the external, and thats only cause the external has a wonderful sense of humour and likes to disconnect. All thanks to the faulty mobo in this lappy.

I have to have the two icons over america on the desktop, cause I HATE having anything in My Docs, but it's a programme that doesn't install. It's what makes my BG, so if it's not on the desktop, it doesn't run. And of course there is firefox, and a new one I just got, WorldWide Telescope. It just might be the first thing microshaft has done recently that I like.

And the text doc is my uncles #, my grandma keeps nagging me to call him. The playlist is one I listen to all the time, and CS3 is being emo about installing, so it's waiting till the comp behaves. The darned thing keeps overheating *it thinks* and shutting off, so I caint run proc-intensive programmes. Like CS3. I so wish I could update my bios... but that's another thread! :P

My screen still looks exactly like that, even down to the applications I have open. I figure that I'm not going to be looking at my desktop when I'm using the PC so why put images on it? :)

I don't need icons, I use Katapult (press alt-space, type in part of an app/file name and it opens it) for everything.
