If you were a famous person (a Hollywood star for example, a famous filthy rich multimillionaire etc.) would you be open about your AS in public to spread knowledge of autism in the world?

Nah. I'd let people figure it out, and support autism research/understanding, among other things, on the side. Also, I'd aim for a smaller, cult following, if you know what i mean, and so maybe wouldn't be a multi-millionaire after all.

I'm planning to start an organization for supporting people with disorders and provide them what they want ... atleast giving them without asking questions will help I think...

No.....but I sure might throw some money at it and programs- and legislatively or via scholars try to tilt the psychology department over that fraction of a bit cognitively that they are missing in therapy practices. They are 'sorta' right but not quite right.

Yes I would be, I have a dream of being what could have been my idol, ie a famous me (not infamous) but I think that I might be a bit selfish, not that I would want to be.

Me neither. I'd be thinking about moving to the far side of the moon.

Yes, I'd be very open about it. I tell many people about my diagnosis, because I figure it this way: My AS traits are so obvious and everyone is going to think I'm eccentric anyway, so why not tell them that there's an actual name for why I act the way I do? Plus, I like spreading awareness of neuropsych disorders and breaking stereotypes of what constitutes a particular disorder.

Ditto. Famous people get no privacy. But I'd definitely let people know I had AS; lots of people have been encouraged by the fact that some famous people have Asperger's; and one more can only help. Anyway, I'm likely to be a "safe" bet if it comes to famous Aspies; I won't ruin the reputation of other Aspies because I'm not prone to the scandalous stuff--y'know, sex, drugs, violence, crime... (Well, sex isn't always scandalous, but if you pick the wrong person it'll be all over the news.) I guess they could do a story every time I shaved my head, but that got old with Britney, and anyway I do it so often that it's not surprising to anybody who knows me. I just get tired of my hair... it gets annoying, so it gets buzzed off. :D
