I understand that the blinking doesn't bother everyone. It does bother me, but I'd rather laugh about it than have a hard time with it. This is my way of dealing with it - by making fun of it. If I were concerned, this thread would be in the former bugs thread.
Really. I am just having fun in the same way I have fun with my prosopagnosia. I tell stories about it that make people laugh, but it is a horrible thing to have known someone for years and not recognize them because of some wiring issue in my head. But if I get myself to laugh about it, then I feel a little better.
I also parrot things I see on TV or hear in conversation. Somewhere I posted a thread about annoying things and this was one. My nephew who has aspergers and I drove people crazy one holiday saying "yellow circle" ad nauseum. But now I tell the story and people laugh.
