I naturally sink. I have never been able to stay afloat in water.

On the contrary, I feel those emotions intensely enough that it creates a kind of numbness. It's not pleasant, but it's better than panic.

Not often. If I act serious and busy, people seldom bother me about minor things like my expression. I smile for pictures but it's usually forced.

Half physical and half emotional. I was small for my age and viewed as an easy target, plus I acted "weird" and few of the other kids stood up for me. (I'll never forget the ones who did, however.) I started picking my own fights with the bullies. Making a nuisance of myself seemed to take...

I've only had to wear masks for short periods until now, but starting tomorrow I will have to wear them to work. They're stuffy and uncomfortable. They might improve my looks, but I'm not looking forward to the experience. :?

It's not universal, but yes, I have been officially diagnosed with autism and I do experience contagious yawning. When a friend or family member yawns, I am usually quick to follow.

I have not seen TS4, nor do I intend to. I haven't even seen 3 yet. I thought the first Toy Story was great, but not so great that I wanted to see the characters in multiple sequels.

Even as a kid I disliked Barney and Friends. I felt the same way about Teletubbies and The Wiggles, although I wasn't a kid anymore by the time they came along. My favorites were Reading Rainbow because it had an appealing host and encouraged basic literacy, and Shining Time Station because it blend...

The closest thing to a truly obscure movie I've seen recently is Blonde Ice, a low-budget 1948 noir film about a psychopathic femme fatale played by Leslie Brookes. It's not completely forgotten, though, since it was released on DVD multiple times. For those of you who do watch a lot of movies, I ha...

I don't know about everyone else, but I've attempted to learn multiple other languages and failed. If a video isn't narrated or at least subtitled in English, I'm most likely not going to watch it. Unless it's a music video; then all bets are off.

I don't like it at all. Too public, and it takes too long. I decide on something I want and then order it online.

No, I don't have any problems with calling people "sir" or "ma'am." Those words come in handy when I do not know somebody's name, or do not know them well enough to be comfortable using their name, or am addressing a customer at various jobs.

I don't consider it a problem; quite the opposite. I wish more people appreciated the difference between fact and opinion like we do. I observe many of them using language carelessly and professing different sets of ideas that vary according to their moods. Why they find this acceptable, I will neve...

I'm sorry to hear that, SteelMaiden. I hope you get the assistance you need with the notes. I didn't realize so many of us had handwriting difficulties. My peers and teachers always told me I had excellent penmanship. I didn't know I was autistic growing up, but I felt like I had to go the extra mil...
