Glad you found a solution. A lot of Python intros are written for Linux. For Windows it looks like creating a Python Virtual Environment with miniconda or anaconda is the way to go. I use Cygwin on Windows and it doesn't play well with Python. venv is one of the places where that is especially true....

If I Recall Correctly:
On WP it is OK to insult someone's religion but not OK to say anything about gender identity that is not politically correct.

Not sure if OP is really going to hear what he wants to hear on this thread.
(lets see if I get moderated off WP just for pointing that out).

My High School had a Northstar 80 computer with two "glass terminals" and a printer. One time I saw the two math teachers with a ruler in hand studying the printer and talking in an animated way. They explained to me that "I wouldn't understand" and "I hadn't gotten to it ye...

I liked Rubic's Cube when I was a kid - now I can afford V-Cube which is much smoother and doesn't stick or fly apart as often. Apparently Yo-yos are a thing again now too.

I am looking at C# and Unity. It looks like running it on Mono (which can run on Linux) is completely possible. There is also a pathway for compiling it to byte code then compiling that to C++ that can compile to native code on any platform. It also looks like it is primarily a game platform - but i...

Mikah You like to be argumentative. If you want me to take your posts seriously you will have to read what I say, not just keep repeating what you want to believe and accusing me of not reading what you say. I notice you never provide and reliable sources for any of the ideas you like to impolitely ...

Note - if by nuclear you mean uranium - you have just moved to another fossil fuel. If you mean fusion - the only development there is the multi country project which is mired in red tape. If it succeeded you will have a mini sun. But we already have a sun. And it already works. I found the "Sp...

Please read O'Neill. You don't get equipment into space from Earth - you take it from someplace where the gravity isn't so deep. From where? The moon and the asteroid belt. Now read some quotes from Jeff Bezos on why he wants to go to the Moon - the answer will be "resources". Sunlight isn...
