Mulholland Drive, actually the first time I saw it I didn't like it. It took me waiting 4 years and watching it again to really enjoy it. When I watched it again the ending felt so complete, like it tied the whole dream together in a nice neat little bowed packed.

The Elephant Man for me too. Also, Witness is pretty sad in a bittersweet kinda way and that movie is pretty flawless (except the dated soundtrack).

Not that recently (within the last half a year) I watched The Wind Rises on the big screen in Toronto, Ontario. The animation was amazing on a big screen!! !
