In the 90s I used to love playing Terminal Velocity at school. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DU6ti5Ng6hg I remember Terminal Velocity! Well, I remember loading it up on a '468 or maybe a Cyrix '586 and getting something like 3 or 4 fps for 30 seconds...and then my system would crash. That system ...

Pence is virulently anti-LGBT as shown by his record as governor; most of the Pence/Trump cabinet picks match his conservative Christian zealotry in their documented history and stated goals for America. Not only did the GOP House refuse to do their job and hold hearings to replace SCOTUS Justice Sc...

I married someone who it turned out is also on the spectrum, as are both of our children. It can be very difficult, especially since two of us are extremely sound sensitive and two vocally stim (half overlap in the two groupings). And we've had some epic 4-way, whole-family meltdowns. Apart from tha...

Just to point out, that "perfect" arrangement is in flux and always has been. The moon is moving away from the Earth, slowly. A few cm per year. In 500 million years, the sun will no longer be eclipsed; the moon will merely transit the sun. Even now, because the Earth's and moon's orbits a...

I have mixed brand loyalty. For me things tend to get tossed into one of two buckets in my head: A.) Things I know: These are things that match my internal representation. B.) Things I don't know: These are things for which I don't have a trusted internal representation. If I become accustomed to a ...

Yes, it would be a very good idea to check in with your doctor & hopefully a specialist like a psychiatrist (ie someone who can order blood tests and prescribe medications *if* they are indicated). If you are in the Northern Hemisphere, did you notice the onset coinciding with the shortening of ...

Some Aspies are artists who weld amazing sculpture. Some are incredible physicists who can only discuss their favorite topic with perhaps a handful of people worldwide. And some can play the piano and convince the rest of us that the music itself is a living thing. Most of us though just do normal t...

You might want to look into a serotonin connection, it helps regulate sleep, mood, digestion, sensory issues and so on. According to my endo, the two co-regulate each other so when one is off, so is the other. When my estrogen & serotonin are low my sensory sensitivities border on painful, my sl...

Hi Fitzi, I'm glad you are comfortable with them and their service. I am not, but none of our family's conditions are life-threatening. If they were I would likely balance that equation differently. Over the years I've had personal information released to 'business partners' even when a company <NOT...

you can also rename the folder that contains cortana and that'll kill it's process entirely. If you copy the folder name into a text file and save it as a backup, you can re-name the folder again to bring it back. To rename the folder you have to be sneaky though...you have to kill the process and ...
