Your blurb was very interesting. :hail: Almost everyone here, in this section, talk about that state of shock. I have felt that too. After years of excelling then crashing and burning...

...and came across asperger's syndrome... . When I looked into it, suddenly everything made sense. So...ya. I've never been the kind to go out to make friends, but I finally decided to try it for once, and try to find people who are more like me than anyone who I currently know. Perhaps someone who...

That was one of the best introductions! Open, honest, and something about you and your situation!

Congratulations and Welcome!

Hello I am so glad I found this site. Looking back on my life, Aspergers makes sense. I am starting to accept myself now because I know it's not my fault. I was born this way. Welcome! May we all get a few rides in the Tardis! :) I'm with you on that one! My only problem is that I grew up with the ...

Hi! Welcome to WP! I'm new, too and when you say that you are low, I know what you mean. I recently read that we should build a toolbox that includes, among other things, includes lists of things we enjoy to think about and/or do. I have started this and it has helped. That's my 2 cents. Good luck i...

Thanks to all!

I just took the long version of the Aspi-quiz:
Your neurodiverse (Aspie) score: 163 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 51 of 200
You are very likely neurodiverse (Aspie)

AQ - 35

BTW: What is the "Veteran" tag that is part of your signatures?

I am 58 with 6 children and by mid-next month my 12th grandchild will be born. I have been diagnosed with strong PTSD and have two "informal" tests showing solid Autism Spectrum Disorder.
