In this world there are two kinds of people. Those that like Springsteen and tose that like Dylan. I'm a Springsteen fan. He put out a new album, a set of music videos, a book, and a film... Western Stars. I'm hooked on the title track. It's got a "nod" to part of the melody of "All T...

busted blood vessels in eye. ach. 8O Ah, that sounds like "floaters". You need to get that checked out by an Opthalmologist ASAP. I waited too long in 2016 (was in between dr.s, and suffered a "detached retina". The retina got permanently damaged in the left eye and I no longer ...

I learned best "by example" or "visual" learning.

It wasn't always possible, so depending on how the subject was taught and what I already knew or was interested in, I either did well or did not.

There are two kinds of "love": 1) Cuddly, teddy bear affection. 2) To be accepted for who one is, by others. Both are important to me. Maybe that's why I still cuddle with a teddy bear at night. The "accepted by others" kind of love doesn't bother me as much anymore. I love mysel...

I am unhappy that one of my housemates is dying of lung cancer, while I don't feel very safe with the other housemate because he is Schizo. Aff. (Psychotic). The unhappiness comes from that the owner of the house we stay at says: "I spoke with J* tonite. He said There's no n issue with him. So ...

Does anyone else have this issue? I've had it since as far as I can remember (currently 27 years old). It's not a big deal, it's nothing like a repetitive tic, and it only really happens when I'm excited or elevated emotionally in some way. No, but I see other Millennials (I'm a Gen X) bounce their...

There is nothing "wrong" with having a "special interest". There is nothing wrong with "focusing" on a "special interest". If Alexander Graham Bell or Thomas Edison or the inventor of the steam locomotive were told that having a "special interest" wa...

My grandma likes to tell me how she would have hit me as a kid. Have to hold back saying 'Don't worry your son did that for you'. If my grandparents said anything like that to me (they're all passed) I'd respond like this... "That's OK grandma/grandpa. Just don't expect me to be one of your Pa...

In a complete loss of composure, he jumped out of bed, gathered up the bed sheets, and threw them out the hospital window. A drunk was walking by the hospital when the sheets landed on him....

About 3 months ago, I was sitting, reading, and I felt a paw touch my leg, then I felt a cat step into my lap and settle to sleep. Except that there wasn't anyone there. But there was weight, and there was warmth, and when the cat-who-wasn't-there jumped down a while later, there were red cat hairs...
