I think part of the problem is due to initially inadvertent offensiveness. I've noticed conservative members make statements that are incredibly offensive to a group of people but when others try to explain why those statements are offensive, the conservative members will just repeat their previous...

Another thing, a way to get Mexico to pay for something is to ship the Mexican Illegal prisoners right back to Mexico and let their government deal with them. You ship enough illegals back to Mexico, then the Mexican government is going to beg to be able to build the wall just to keep their own peo...

It would be really cool to be able to determine that these bursts are from extra-terrestrials. However, unless these signals contained vast amounts of information, it will do us no good beyond knowing we aren't alone. It would take billions of years for a one way transmission. A tough conversation a...

[quote="friedmacguffins"]Firstly, there are countless comparisons of George Bush, and other white people, with chimps.

The difference is that George Bush actually sometimes looks like a chimp. It has nothing to do with his being white and it certainly isn't racism...

Rural West Virginia is Appalachian country, that's where the term hillbilly and redneck comes from so I would say that this is probably pretty tame compared to some of the things they'd probably say if you got a couple drinks in them. I feel like that is the type of place where a record would scrat...

So, one manager at one shop is being accused of telling a disabled person that they wouldn't be a good fit, and that's being conflated into the entire company being anti-disability, with some extra cultural poo flinging for good measure because the owners are outspoken Christians... Their being Chr...

As best I can tell, it has been the strategy of atheists, to acknowledge all the myths and superstitions, but give it a materialistic explanation -- a backdoor route to converting Christians. So, I should like to hear the atheists give a materialistic reason. I'm an atheist and I have no desire to ...

I've been wanting to try cbd oil, but not sure where or what brand to get. Once in a blue moon I'll use cannibis but I never know how I'll react to it, as it tends to amplify my senses and cause paranoia. I've been treating my anxiety using kratom for a couple years but I've grown somewhat tolerant...

In my experience, the CBD oil derived from marijuana works far better than that derived from hemp. In fact, I couldn't see any help from hemp derived CBD oil. The oil I use comes from marijuana and has no THC and can be used without fear of impairment. The feds are finally allowing experiments with ...

I remember watching a news report about all these news reports about all these civilians dying in Aleppo and they'd show these bombed out like WWII looking streets and then say like 'up to a dozen died this week' which to me actually seems pretty pinpoint all things considered if there really were ...
