Of course, the Russian soldier is fed propaganda....and it's mostly total bs. It's much more Orwellian than the propaganda from the West. It's a matter of degrees, really. Let's just say the Western propaganda might rate a 3 or 4-----the propaganda fed to the Russian soldier just might rate a 100. ...

I have to say, as an atheist, that if your belief truly kept you here with us, then I must say "Thank you, God!". But also, "Damn you, God, for creating an existence where fear of eternal punishment drives some people's actions in both positive and very negative ways". Darron Yo...

undoubtedly anti-semitism is to be abhorred but it is very difficult to disentangle it from criticism of Israel these days which criticism is of course perfectly legitimate; the Israeli/pro-Israeli agenda has by and large succeeded in suppressing all political debate on the subject and as in the Lab...

I think it is excellent when black people get represented at the highest levels. I thought Obama's policies were awful, but, he did a lot for black representation & was a key figure really for black empowerment. We have Diane Abbott here in the United Kingdom & oh boy, does she embarrass bl...

no institution is perfect, if you want to find fault you easily can but if you want to find good I'm pretty sure in the case of the NHS it will far outweigh the bad by many multiples

This is where I grew up. Police cars whizzing around chasing joy riders (cars were easily hijacked back then because of a lack of immobiziling technology for cars). Burnt out buildings, street fights with rampant racism, both Muslim on White racism & White on Muslim racism. There was a mosque, ...

Is there any point to this post other than wilful provocation? as a Christian you would be very unlikely to marry a Muslim anyway and I'm not sure where you get the idea that so many Christians are LBGTQ+ friendly, that seems a long way off in my estimation and as to Islam being the 'ultimate patria...

I think you are operating to your own definition of 'persecution' rather than the consensus version because nothing that I see or that you have said amounts to persecution or anywhere near as far as I can see Christianity is in decline culturally I would say in the UK (don't know about numbers) but ...

I love drama. I find it more interesting than any other genre, except maybe horror. I so badly want to write a series of drama stories but I have trouble thinking up a plot or storyline that isn't copied from an existing drama series. I love mundane things. I don't like fantasy much. If a book or a...

To give you an idea how strong my crush on her was ...

These kind of generalised discussions on 'Christianity' very often fall foul of the same error which is to say the failure to understand what is meant by the term 'Christianity' itself. All the horrors which are generally trotted out i. e. crusades, inquisition etc were perpetrated by the Roman Cath...
