That may be the case, but if so, they are incredibly dense because isolating and alienating the killer is what made him go loco. If that's what they suspected, it would only make sense that they begin to befriend you in hopes u don't get pissed at them.. Other than that, maybe it's something else. I...

Interesting.. whenever I'm frustrated or restless I get a very strong urge to bang my head against a wall - and I say it all the time. Never actually do. When I was a kid I hit my head on things a whole lot.. but that was only because I was clumsy

I'm actually now realizing a new dimension of my AS: I grow personally attached to inanimate objects, my clothes especially. Even with stuff like food, if I'm eating chips and one slips out of my hand I imagine that it's trying to run away and escape its fate so I make a point of capturing it and de...

I loathe to throw things away. I have things in my room right now dating back more than ten years. I'd still have my kindergarten scratchbooks with me if I were less forgetful and kept good track of them. I keep these things as neural pathways to memories of the state of mind I was in when I had eac...

For the longest time I had the strangest walk because whenever I was in public I felt like I was walking on a stage in front of 6000 people. Now it's mild; I'm still ridiculously self-conscious but I'm better at hiding it. I'm only truly relaxed at home or wherever I'm sure there's nobody around.

I'm ashamedly not quite an avid reader, so I only know Lovecraft from hearsay, but I'll be sure to delve into his work sometime soon. From what I know about the Ctulhu mythos I expect some interesting material. What do you recommend for an introduction to his work?

Interesting.. few people are keeping track of such things. I myself am interested in entering the field of AI in the future, but from a cognitive science approach. Well, if we were to start replacing damaged parts of the brain with digital analogues, there'd be a whole, new field for rehabilitating...

If you haven't read A Descent Into The Maelström, this might not make that much sense, but it's an allegorical piece which is a representation of the struggles of my life, and maybe yours.

Water can be both good and bad, of use and dangerous. To the danger, however, a remedy has been found: learning to swim. The oldest seaman could not have foreseen what was to be dispelled from the heavens that night. We began the journey with a fresh wind on the starboard quarter, my two brothers an...

I do it so much, I'm afraid to end up in a conversation with any two friends I have who have different accents, because I'm afraid they'll go 'hey! that's not your real accent!' or something. I have a different accent for each person speak to, depending on their accent. In the rare times when that h...

I don't have any loyalty to the philosophy, but I do consider it somewhat inevitable. Numenta just came up with a system that could potentially lead to an artificial neocortex, so I imagine it's just a matter of time before we start patching ourselves back together with artificial parts as the natu...
