I cannot smoke pot as it gives me the terrors.... It gives me severe panic and paranoia ... I might self medicate with stuff that helps with focus and anxiety....two things that I have real difficulties with. .... Yeah, back in school I hung around with the pot people, they were more open-minded an...

I feel as if I am in hell. ... It hurts so much. We are in hell - some say hell is other people. But please don't end it; Graelwyn, you were one of the people who were nice to me when i found Asperger's and WP, I thank you for that. You are such a good person who deserves to be treated with kindnes...

I'm responding to the original post, rather than the long flamey ones. I've always been attracted to intelligent people - I enjoy how they think, I learn so much more from them than from dull, limited people, AND - I realized from an early age that I wasn't gonna go far on my social skills or unders...

Oh, yes! From marbles to pretty stones, to model airplanes to book series (hardy boys to James Bond to sci-fi) to games (board and then computer) to vinyl records to cassettes... Budget has always constrained my collecting or I'd have filled a couple of houses with stuff, not only useful stuff but P...

Beautiful post, Graelwyn. Thanks for restoring some of my faith in human nature. (And some posts deserve to be longer, they have more valuable things to say.) Yes, I've been on both sides of that; I think when things are going well, when we have some power and control, it just seems natural to use i...

I don't think any healthy relationship is founded on telling each other everything . I can't really think of anything I wouldn't be willing to tell someone I wanted to, say spend the rest of my life with. . . but having that option, that privacy, seems essentially important to me. . Yeah, I agree. ...

I don't have a whole lot of trouble relating to a guy if I can tell he's attracted to me. I thrive on digging into the most parts of the human mind and memories, and I love spilling out mine. You should just try to learn to let it work for you... . As a clueless guy, can I ask, how can you tell he'...

Wellbutrin, is also a stimulant used for ADD. It's an off label use, but if you are also needing antidepressants it'll help you in both areas. It helped me (depressed and ADD) as an antidepressant, but I didn't notice any stimulation. I guess it's a subtle action, just enough to wake me up a little...

Anyone can create a hero from within, but to create a villian, we need other people. ... A writer always looks to motive and history, The character wants something they cannot get by their own effort, some event in their past, they got away with something, shoplifted candy, and then all of life bec...

It doesn't seem to have any kind of euphoric effect on me, it just allows me to think more easily. If it did, it might make a difference. If it produced euphoria, it would be criminalized in these united states; we have this harsh puritanical ethic that stamps out whatever would make us feel good. ...

I'm just glad I can take ritalin along with them. Me too! I'm so mad at my the psychiatrist for being suspicious of me, as if I was jsut tryign to get drugs! Let's see what he thinks when he hears one of his patients-- the one he refused to give the stimulants to-- was just brought into the morgue!...

All my life, I've known I'm very socially bizarre and uptight, but I haven't ever been so self-conscious about it. I can relate! But I've been painfully self-conscious so many times that finding Asperger's was a huge relief. Not sure how old you are, but I wish I'd known 45 years ago. I'm also mind...

Oh Graelwyn, I had an abusive landlord, who shouted, banged on the walls, would call my phone and shout, I was glad to be out of there, and I hope that you find a better, less stressful place.
Peace and a better place.
