This might be an unpopular opinion, but the game is really starting to grow on me. It's not the first time that they scaled back drastically on customization, only to add them in later installments as "new features." That really sucks, but it does kind of make sense. From what I understand...

I'm sorry that you're having a rough time. I agree with the others that this is a pretty safe and supportive message board. It's starting to become my safe little corner of the internet and I think that you'll find the same. I was having a similar discussion http://wrongplanet.net/forums/viewtopic.p...

I've had things I said taken wildly out of context also. I think this is partly just a pitfall of the internet, that it can be very easy for people to misinterpret things, but rational people can usually work it out, realize they might have made a mistake and get past it. Anyway most people don't t...

Yes. A lot of people came back because WoD was way way too promising. Ability pruning, a less bursty game, the nostalgia of a TBC like experience, garrisons... Everything sounded too exciting in theory but failed hard in most aspects. PvP is still as bursty as before, or might be actually worse. Th...

From my experience, a lot of people in general tend to resent being marginalized by their race -- even with the best intentions -- rather than by their substance as a person. I don't mean to criticize, it's just an honest observation.

I'd say some degree of schadenfreude is to be expected, but it's probably best to keep it to yourself.

I'm a guy, but just being objective -- I'd say Q & X from your list, but your profile picture on here would probably be the best.

I love Dark City! One of my favorites and Alex Proyas' best film, in my opinion.

I've always enjoyed the one-off episodes way more than the story arc ones -- probably for the same reasons that I was never able to get into Lost. Seasons 3 and 4 were definitely my favorite.

People who haven't suffered from anxiety are often lousy at empathizing with it. I understand that your neighbor might have just been worried about his car, but I'm sure that didn't help with your situation, which he wasn't able to understand. I'm sorry that you had such a bad experience and I hope ...

Hi, everyone. I have something to tell you all. I have been lying about myself. My entire life was all pretending to be someone I am not proud of. I make friends, based on their interests, from music to TV, from fashion to mainstream trends. I also lied to my mother about myself, causing tensions b...

From what it looks like it's the largest subscriber drop count in the game history. I truly hope that this opens up blizzard eyes and they see how they messed up with this game. I agree that there's a lot broken right now, especially for PVP'ers. From what I understand, this drop was preceded by on...

I resubscribed today. Apparently the total subscriber count has dropped back down to 7.1 million since the last boom. Yikes. My garrisons have become sort of a goldmaking chore, but I'm having fun leveling up my alts. I used to play, I had an Undead Priest on Wyrmrest Accord. I was actually in a gui...
