I attend a social group for people with autism/other disabilities. It's fun, though I don't really feel like I fit in with the other kids. Me neither, one of my friends that I met there has the same problem except much worse; she always tries to cling to me and not allow me to mingle with other peo...

I'm actually going to a meeting today. I really like going there; I've met some of my closest friends there, more friends than I've ever had in my school life even (currently a sophomore in high school BTW). One thing I do find odd is how over half of the people who attend are all adults, miraculous...

Been a fan since birth, homes. ;) I like more underground/indie stuff though like Childish Gambino, Cormega, Sean Price, etc. than mainstream though.

That's very interesting how multiracial Aspies made up the second largest percentage since I myself am one and I don't know any mixed race Aspies in real life. Plus all of my autistic friends are either white or Hispanic. As far as only studying children that is pretty bogus.

I'm physically a 16 year old arts school student, emotionally a small child, and mentally an unemployed high school graduate trying to figure out what to do with his life.

the largest percentages of races in my genes are Mexican, Irish, and German. My mom never taught me Spanish growing up, because she didn't think I'd really need it. my German and Irish genes are dominant so I always got called 'White Boy' and people always thought I lied about being part Mexican. I...

I'm not sure if this counts. My parents are both from Ecuador, but I'm Canadian. Both sides of my family are part white and part South American(native). My sister looks South American and I look white and slightly Spanish. One of my cousins has ASD and she looks even whiter than me. Her sister is NT...

I still watch a fair amount of Spongebob, Rugrats, Rocko's Modern Life, Dexter's Laboratory, Animaniacs, Ed Edd & Eddy, Courage the Cowardly Dog, etc. since I grew up watching those shows despite not being a "90s kid", although I can technically be considered one since I was born in 19...

In my Aspergers social group, only two of my friends are 16-19 years old, which is within my age group. Everyone else is between 21-26 years old, which can be awkward knowing that I am a teenager who finds a lot of common interests with grown ass men lol.

[Warning: Do not read if you are sensitive to violent imagery or abuse.] To give you some background, there is a bully I knew from middle school who was my friend at first but quickly turned into a psycho. He was the ultimate ahole, everything from hitting me to name calling to sexual harassment to ...

Facebook is extremely idiotic to me, I do not see the point in having one; it's especially frustrating when family members keep asking me if I have one, to me it's like asking if I own a yacht. What doesn't help is the fact that a few years back someone reportedly made a fake account with my name an...

I miss my middle school friends, Carlos and Julia. They were the first people that ever truly cared about my well being and didn't take everything "wrong" with me for granted. I am currently a sophomore at an arts school but it still feels like I just barely graduated eighth grade whenever...

Hello, 16 year old living in Arizona here. I was diagnosed with Asperger's around January 2015 (so not too long ago), as well as ADHD, social anxiety and severe clinical depression, and possibly mild posttraumatic stress disorder. In some cases, if someone were to casually talk to me, they wouldn't ...
