| Irishkate--I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. We too have just recently had our 6 year old diagnosed with AS and it's tough. | Earth Calling--I do really like my son's primary school, which goes up through 3rd grade. He will get good services (if he qualifies for them, that is, but I'm thinking he will), I actually have a good friend that works there that can look out for him, and at that age kids are generally pretty kind ... |

| Thanks for the welcome and the reply! I do offer him little 'rewards'...usually it's time to do something before school that he enjoys like watch a little PBS or have time to 'spin his coins'..:-)...it's one of those things that sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But usually I follow his lead... |
