| This is a tough one, because we have this primal fear of standing out in the crowd, that goes back about as far as the evolution of social creatures. I've never been able to fit in to any group, both for lack of ability, and, later, for lack of inclination to do so. So I just avoid, as much as possi... |

| Yeah, it's a pain. But I could never talk socially before, and have never fit in for so many reasons. So other than making it harder to find a job, making bathrooms a nightmare, and making it much more dangerous to be out in public(which I never really liked, anyways), I'm not that much worse off th... |

A popular topic lately
Just enjoy it while it lasts. Don't worry about romance until it grabs you. But definitely work on having friends, as having friends is a pretty important stepping stone to romances, if and when you ever decide to get to that |

I'm with kraftiekortie on this one, though I didn't think much about sex until my 20s.
Just try to enjoy the peace while it lasts |

Why is everyone telling the OP who they are, on the basis of a single post?
Only they can decide what they are. You can offer things to think about, and encourage self-exploration, but this is not a simple issue. |

| It's a long path of self-discovery you are on. One thing to think about, is to try to figure out what it really means for you to be a girl, vs. what society thinks a girl should be. You can try a thought experiment, imagining you have gone to a different country where it's okay for girls to act and ... |

| I just keep looking for someone I can relate to, because I really am lonely, and I don't like having pets because, if they're my responsibility, I worry about them constantly, so much I can't even sleep. And besides, they don't have anything interesting to say, and they can't hold you. I figure I'll... |

| Very much yes. When I had to move into a friends house, her front room had like 10 ticking clocks in it, because her sister liked it for some reason. I removed the batteries any time they were out of town :) But the worst is dogs barking, by far, followed by music, followed by pens clicking, any kin... |

| You sound kinda like a bear to me. Do you not want to be a bear? You're not gonna be a young twink again, and that is something we all have to accept. We all had our day in the sun, or at least, we generally had the opportunity to be in the sun, even if we passed up on it entirely, like I did. It's ... |

| Once a genre gets creatively depleted, things typically turn around. It's been happening since the Atari days. It just takes a long, long time for MMOs to cycle, since they're so hard to make. I figure in a year or three, there may be some good options available from a major publisher, which is abou... |

| It's hard to jump straight into relationships. Much easier to start by finding a friend or two. That makes it much easier to go out and meet other people, as well. I wouldn't worry too much about when you start having relationships. But do try to find some friends, because it gets much harder once y... |

| Just wanted to add that voice is a real problem, in either direction (ftm or mtf). I'm not sure how much one can grow, at what age, but in my experience, adult-transitioning trans-females sound pretty much like men(unless they are speaking in a whisper very carefully), and trans-men sound like cis-m... |

| I can't function in a general social context, so socially transitioning is a moot point for me. Though legally, yes, I'm out to everyone, changed my name, all that stuff. I couldn't function socially as a young, attractive male. I certainly can't pull it off now. Looking completely female is borderi... |

| Welcome Pandoradawn! I am also trans(m2f). I identify as trans-feminine. No strong political feelings, other than perhaps a vague sense of disappointment in the human race. I used to, but I realized the futility of fighting human nature. I also have high-functioning autism, and have all the symptoms... |

So you can wade through lots and lots of stupid messages from guys who could give a crap about your profile, and pretty much all of whom really just want to have sex with you and every other female they can? And all the nice guys too insecure to even say h... |
