@Ramsus: Since you seem like an intelligent and educated person, you are certainly aware that there is hard evidence in biological science, that reproduction is practically the most basic drive of every living being. I dont think that you are going to argue against that. You could make the point th...

Okay, let's compare cats to dogs. Dogs come when called by name. You can teach dogs many tricks. A dog wagging it's tail means happy, with a cat you don't know what the hell you're getting. Cats sleep for 16 hours each day, dogs only 10. Dogs are loyal and friendly, cats only cuddle up to you when ...

And as a friendly suggestion, considering the flaming that went on before with your avatar, may I suggest this image of a man you seem to take after, although I'm sure Sir Francis Galton had never even heard of AS. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/0/0b/Francis_Galton.jpg It suits you. :) Al...

As an example I could list off: Autism, moderate-severe asthma (currently not well-controlled), severe daily migraine, neuropathic pain, hypermobility syndrome w/joint pain, "deformed" jaw and mouth structures (some of this leading to severe pain and functional problems), assorted stomach and bowel...

Continue spouting off insults all you like, they will be ignored. The simple fact that you have detiorated into a rabid insult throwing psycho suggests you've been broken. I'm done with you. BACK ON TOPIC! Who agrees or disagrees that it is selfish and cruel for two individuals, knowing their childr...

You've proven nothing apart from my original theory that you're a whiney emo. Oh, though you've also managed to prove you're an ignorant troll. Go you. I can quote back evidence of this to you all day, but frankly thats more trouble than its worth. Tell you what, you carry on with your misguided op...

Do you read what is posted? I NEVER said that all of these things are evident in ALL aspies AT ALL. These are merely various upsides that CAN be present in AS. Given those traits can be equally as noticeable within NTs, they are not limited to AS. Therefore, AS is not benneficial. Those traits them...

Variously, and varying from person to person: Higher than average intelligence, the ability to focus on a task more intently than most NTs. A gift for specialization. Greater degrees of logic and common sense. An ability to deal with situations from an objective rather than emotion-driven point of v...

Rasmus, what you are going through now is a fairly common stage in any neuro-biological disorder. It's the conviction that no one else understands what you are going through, that no one else could ever ever possibly contemplate knowing what its like to deal with one of the less debilitating issues...

Has anyone tried to walk Native American style? I've tried but its hard to learn, at least for me. Traditional Natives touch the ground with the ball of the foot first and never quite let their heel strike. On my father's side I'm Native American. Cherokee, more precisely. I know the walk, although...

Rasmus, theres a world of difference between being a young person with a lifelong neuro-biological difference that provides not only difficulties to be overcome but also advantages that NTs just dont have.. and just being an emo. Its becoming rapidly evident which camp you fall into. Macbeth must t...
