Find a new place to work out if they don't allow you to use free weights. Barbells and dumbbells are the foundation for a beginner. Machines are bad to build basic strength, they can be used to help with imbalances and weak points later on for intermediate/advanced lifters. edit: Oh and building mus...

Your looks have nothing to do with it. Never having talked to girls is probably the biggest reason. Try to think more positive and avoid negativity, other people notice negativity. If you really want to get a girlfriend there is nothing other to do than actually interact with females, even if it's r...

I've been on and off weight lifting a few times, but I just recently started more serious, joining my brother. Me and both my bros are pretty much competing to lift the most weight in the future, and I know I will beat them both! We're all relatively weak (compared to lifters, not general population...

As of yet, I haven't asked out anyone for a date. I think the reason is that I haven't really met someone I found that interesting. Physical attraction only is not enough to motivate me to ask someone out. If I met someone that I really like, I would probably do my attempt to approaching them in som...

I think for me, I can read faces averagely if I'm allowed to put my full attention to it, like an online test or watching a TV-series. If I'm interacting with someone, I have much more trouble because there is too much info to process at once. Because of that I'm the type of guy that looks to the si...

I don't understand how one can look at both eyes at once? To do such a thing you would have to focus REALLY far behind the person, which then again wouldn't really be looking at eyes in the first place.

I have trouble keeping friends. Either I do stuff that's too weird or awkward, or I don't like them and literally tell them (some people react strongly to this ). I'm lucky though since I have a true friend that I met in first grade, and he thinks a lot like me. So I can manage without any othe...

I sleep the best when there is absolute silence, and next best if I have slight noise (like a fan running). The one thing that absolutely destroys my attempt to sleep is if there is any sudden sound at all, even if it's barely audible. Once I'm in deep sleep, it doesn't really matter as I sleep as a...

To be totally honest, I'm not sure what IQ is good for.
I have a "good" IQ, but so far in my life I haven't seen any real benefits.

I live in a small town called Raufoss. I haven't really traveled much, so I haven't seen much outside of Oppland (the county I live in).

Thanks to everyone! hi, lars, welcome. while you're in a posting mood, would you mind sharing what sorts of things interest you? I like listening to music, and also I play the piano and some guitar. Strength training is also very fun, but I'm not able to go to a gym right now. Other than that I most...
