You need permission from the website owner to use WP for the purpose of conducting surveys/research. It is not automatically given on application and is rarely granted. WP continually has a stream of new members who join only for the personal reason of getting material to advance their study/fulfil ...

If you don't want the money that's fine too. I have to keep it as an option though for ethical reasons. And no Alex has yet to get back to me.

Ya it's not a lot, but apparently that's what you pay on MTurk. Even the big companies rarely go over $3 when using MTurk, and I'm just a college student trying to conduct some research.
