My son is 20 and has just started university. Me and my husband help him with groceries and laundry whilst he settles in, but he is having problems and is very angry, frustrated and somewhat depressed. Main Problems: Can't make friends. Suspicious and critical of others. Gives me and his dad the sil... |

I came off them because they weren't doing anything and I was depressed. I can't get treatment for my adhd so I can't take anything appropriate. I weaned off them okay, no problems there. I just feel like I can't process my situation. My marriage is good, I don't need to leave it. My life is just du... |

It's horrible isn't it? It's like I can view my life objectively for the first time in years and it's just so dismal. I try to keep my spirits up, but I just don't know what the point is now. I've been having a return of the maladaptive daydreaming for some reason. I feel that it's giving me some st... |

I've had to come off my antidepressants after being on them for 12 years now. I refuse to take any others due to having adhd as the conventional ones make me depressed and zombiefied. I have been feeling upbeat and expected a crash, but it's like all my emotions are now over whelming me as I forgot ... |

How old are you? I got burnout three years ago and found my autism and adhd have worsened with age. I don't have the energy to sustain a 'normal' presentation anymore. Talking to people is extremely difficult now and I'm practically a recluse. |

Are you receiving help or treatment for your ocd and bipolar? If these were controlled effectively then perhaps you'd have a chance of building a life for yourself. Philosophically speaking, I don't believe that everyone necessarily finds meaning in their life and many find life isn't for them and w... |

Omg I'm obsessed with rocks. I have literally hundreds all around the house and garden. I collect them and bring them home. I've taken rocks I shouldn't have as well. Rocks are my life! |

I'm learning Russian, but also have adhd, so you can imagine how it's going :D I often struggle to form coherent sentences in English if I'm speaking it as I get muddled up and stressed. I love Russian though, so I'm trying hard. I'll never have to speak it in front of people, so I'm not concerned a... |

I once read a Readers Digest true story about a cleaner in Russia who got stuck in a lift over the Christmas holidays and she was there for over a week and had to drink the mop bucket water and eat some of her mop. :( So, she did survive? Hope so. I watched a news video about a woman who got stuck ... |

I live in a very dull, culturally backward part of the UK. I can walk down the street and fail to pass as a normie consequently I spend most of my life hiding from people. Online, I'm usually accused of being too blunt and rude and being willing to discuss subjects that others feel uncomfortable tal... |

I feel like I'm always masking, even at home with the others who are ND and wouldn't really judge. I stop myself from talking to myself. I love talking to myself. I make up songs and rhymes instead.
When masking outside I'm very careful to look like a nice person so people don't have a go at me. |
