It's entirely possible in my opinion. While there are some people on the spectrum that lack empathy, others on it don't. That being said, I believe I am an empath myself. I think a lot of people that feel they are, tend to be, but that's more or less just my opinion.

It should really be up to your son what he wears, if his teacher has a problem with what he wears, that is the teacher's problem. It basically bugs the teacher, and not your son, and you shouldn't entertain the teacher's wishes, it could make your son feel bad about himself. All that matters is that...

I think what is more important than interests, is that you have the same values or goals in life. With interests, it's a lot easier to compromise, and each live in each others worlds from time to time. Basically getting involved in each other's interests;unless for some reason that's not desired, an...

So some things overlap in terms of both types of narcissism and aspergers; that being said people with covert narcissism aren't 'just like' people with aspergers. Regardless of if he has aspergers though, it's not an excuse if you have treated someone badly, especially after the issue(s) have been a...

So my question is this: --Do I tell him what I suspect? Yes, you should tell him. --How do I do it with offending him? Just be up front about it, tell him how you read something and it reminded you a lot of him. --If you didn't know, would you have wanted to? Very much so. --To those especially who ...

Men who fail to prove their manliness by going through whatever initiation rites the group deems appropriate to earn its respect have their opinions systematically dismissed, too. In fact, not forcing the same rites on women, who would often be ill-suited to endure their rough physical nature, is a...

I've never had alcohol personally, and i wouldn't drink for the sole reason of attracting people. I don't think it would attract anyone good, and they wouldn't be into the person that you are normally. I actually hate when people drink, and generally don't like to date people that do; unless it's ra...

I think his family would take him seriously, especially being on the spectrum and not being able to speak up. And he did try and get her to stop in his own way, trying to talk to her or confront her is a BAD idea. She is the kind of person that takes advantage of others, just because she can. It won...

Aspergers is really on the autism spectrum so...if someone just called me autistic I wouldn't care. I think a lot of people don't know what to do with 'aspergers', and are more familiar with the term autism, even if they don't know much about it. That being said, it sounds like they are just making ...
