I don't know if I have hyperlexia, but I could read before I could speak. When I learnt to read it was something I grasped pretty suddenly. My favourite toy as a 2-3 year old was this Leapfrog phonics pond my mum got from a charity shop. She actually bought it for my older brother for him to learn h... |

I was an LGBT teenager. I certainly did NOT become cisgender heterosexual. |

I'm a lefty, but my parents and brother (and whole family really) are righties.
But that might not mean anything. My neurotypical friend is left-handed but all her family are right-handed too. |

Neutral reactions are cooler to me than positive ones. I don't want to be gushed over or treated differently, just accepted. And when people are neutral or nonchalant, it feels more genuine than weird congratulations or whatever. |

Technically I am non-binary. But to be really honest, if someone asked me whether I was a boy or a girl, in my mind I reply, "I'm a lesbian". I know some people will retort back, "but lesbians are women and you are a woman" Yes I feel more like a woman than a man...but not as 'wo... |

Got to be honest, when I see the new pride flag, it's usually been in slacktivist marketing strategies by big corps around Pride Month. Most LGBT people I know use the old-school rainbow flag (or lesbian, bi, trans or non-binary depending on their identity). I'm a non-binary lesbian, and I really wa... |

I haven't seen an increase in homophobia myself; if anything, I've seen the opposite.
The one thing I have seen, however, is a stark increase in transphobia, especially among feminists and British media/politics. |

I don't usually cry unless it's PMDD week, but when I do I cry for like, hours. I don't understand how some people just don't cry at all. I used to think it was a man and woman difference but my girlfriend is not a crier either. Not because she's insensitive; in fact she is one of the most sensitive... |

Skipping your period for 1 month isn't too bad, but unless you're pregnant or you have a condition like PCOS, having no period for 7 months sounds very unusual to be honest.
I'd get it checked out at the doctor's in case something's going on. |

If it's going to be a wet cut anyway, then I can imagine so.
I get my hair cut by my mum's friend who is a freelance hairdresser so she's fine with me turning up greasy-haired. But if it were a salon I was going to, I'd probably put some dry shampoo in beforehand. |

I once dyed my hair to have platinum blonde streaks when I was 12 - I thought it'd work because my natural hair colour is dirty blonde. It didn't work. Also tried dyeing it brown with some temporary hair colour back in uni, the kind that fizzles out after so many washes. That made my skin look too p... |

I don't shave my legs anymore but when I did, I couldn't use cream (allergic). Electric shavers weren't very effective for me either. Instead, I used hot soapy water and disposable razors - it's a lot easier as long as you are gentle, but takes some practice to avoid cutting yourself. |

I didn't learn what a period was until I had my first one...probably because my puberty onset was very precocious and it wasn't expected as soon as it was. I was almost 10 at the time and I started bleeding in class at school. I thought I was ill at the time and got really scared, so my teachers had... |

Disclosing a disability means it's more likely that people can help you and make beneficial accommodations...but my biggest fear of disclosing mine is the potential microaggressions I may face (e.g. people starting to patronise me and taking me less seriously). |

There are a couple of Western cartoons I like, though I'm specifically more of an anime person. Recently started Zombieland Saga and So I'm a Spider, So What? which are both fun series ^^ |
