I reiterate these partiuclar points you are glossing over. YOU are the one making a vague claim about how terribly worse Asperger's syndrome ( a MILD form of Autism) is compared to what is widely considered one of the most debilitating mental illnesses out there. You have come up with no examples, n...

Sora: As your AS doesn't seem to be a real problem as you say, not very debilitating, Not anymore, because I learnt to overcome most of the adversity I gave me in childhood. I take it you are just being an intentionally and horribly rude person I don't suffer fools gladly. who displays lots of ignor...

Why is that a problem? And if it is, why do you bother with this forum. It's a problem becuase people become immersed in their label, and feel it defines them wholly as a person, which, considering how people here criticise Non autistics for their 'herd mentality', strikes me as a little hypocritic...

why? People have a far less accurate perception of illnesses like agoraphobia or schizophrenia than of Aspergers, and they are far more debilitating (trust me, I know) How many types of Asperger's do you know? Asperger's can be far more 'debilitating' than agoraphobia or schizophrenia. Ha. Hahahaha...

Hilofoz, I have a few points of dissent: This is a nonsense. You obviously have not read about the neurological differences between people with A/AS and others. So a difference of opinion simply equals ''did not do the research''? There are definite differences in the neural pathways of information ...

At least one post gets where I'm coming from. I posted these questions to see how people would respond and their opinions on matter that are important to me I have asked these questions to myself and wanted to see if the answers of others corroborate what I feel, and how I perceive the mindset of ce...

'Neurotypicality' is a social (hahahaha) construct create so people can pigeon hole anyone who is remotely different from them and use it to justify their polarised 'Us/Them' mentality. Yet, interestingly enough, 'neurotypical' is a word that was invented by the autistic community. It's not somethi...

Watching the video all the way through, the kid seems actually quite happy at the end. Isn't it odd that he seems far happier after the treatment than before? :? He's happy in the beginning; he's just not smiling. Check out that ceiling fan. Wouldn't you be happy watching that, too? (Well, if you l...
