I have more of a hyena laugh at times. By that I mean when I'm nervous I'll let out a small "eheheh" laugh after I say something, or if I'm happy I'll let out a crazy sounding laugh sometimes.

Very much like this:

The puzzle piece represents the idea that there's a part of us missing and that we're only partially people with a mystery to be solved to put back the missing piece. The infinity symbol in contrasts symbolizes we're indeed whole people with infinite possibilities across a spectrum.

I recall finding an article describing Hillary Clinton's plan for Autism research if she got elected, and assuming her intentions are good they entail increasing access to services for all Autistics and fund research involving Autistic adults. I haven't found a second source with this information ho...

I'm excellent at basic math, like figuring out how much a purchase will cost or how many of an item there are, but very bad at geometry or Algebra.

From my point of view it seems like even if the cure were purely opt in by the individual, there would be risk of parents deciding for their child to receive it without their input, or those who decline the treatment may receive further stigma by being okay with how they are.

You know, it would be really helpful if we had autistic adults act as consultants and put together a list of recommended accommodations for autistic children in school. Like, for this issue, we recommend this. For that, we recommend this other thing. I'm actually working with a friend of mine who i...

As I've read up more, I've come to think of Asperger's Syndrome and Autism as the same when talking about the condition at large and in diagnosis, with the smaller differences coming into play more so when it comes to how the individual person faces life and their needs as an individual. That is to ...
