ZombieBrideXD, non-autistics do have obsessions sometimes and I can't think of anybody who never had to some extent. Only, they are better at controlling their emotions and are careful at making sure these obsessions don't overwhelm them.

I know where you're coming from because I have a childhood cousin who also had these tendencies when surrounded by people.

beneficii, what steps have you tried to somehow address your issue with "partial face blindness." I understand this can affect the way you interact with other people and could even lead to lower self-esteem. I find you inspiring though because you're just one of the few who are not scared ...
