Hi Andreger, I know it sounds hokey- but have you tried vitamin b12 shots? I used to suffer from bad anxiety and depression and once I started getting those shots, they started taking the edge off. Also, I was deficient in many vitamins. I took 2 forms of antidepressants and they turned me into a z...

Call NHS 111. It's the non-emergency version of 999, they will be able to help you. Just be clear that you are seriously thinking about suicide and they will know what to do. I know you mention it's more thinking about it rather than actually doing it, but that is the next stage if you don't do som...

I'm not sure where you are based, but there is usually a number for the mental health crisis team, much better than A&E at dealing with our problems. Have a wee online search and call them, they can advise you and may even help you if able. I think you need a referral for that. And I hate going...

Oh, another thing I was going to say is I'm not sure how I'd communicate if I went there cos I can't necessarilly say 'I want to kill myself'. It depends on the situation/person. I might need to communicate with paper. But I don't know what would be expected of me as I've only been to A&E as a c...

How stupid an idea is it to do this? Last time I went to my GP she said if I feel I need help re: my suicidal ideation (like if I have a crisis... don't remember her exact words) to call Samaritans or go to A&E. I don't want to call Samaritans. I have some kind of hazy memory from emailing them ...

You have to clear this sort of thing with Alex first. Send him a mail. What do I need to say? Sorry, I didn't know there were restrictions on this. I'm honestly not sure. Explain what the purpose is, and assure him that it is confidential, I'm not sure what else. I only pointed it out as I've seen ...

Hello. :) I'm doing a research project for college on disabled women's sexual experiences and attitudes, and I'm looking for self-identified disabled women to fill in a questionnaire for it. I'm guessing a good portion of the women on this forum identify as disabled, so here seems like a good place ...

I get you. I'm still unsure what it actually means. I wonder if it's because I've experienced a moment that should be happiness, but I'm depressed so it's crushing it down and what I'm feeling is the struggle between the two emotions. Maybe due to having depression this is as close to happy as I ca...

Do you mean you find yourself feeing happy then feel guilty for feeling happy and inject depression? Or is it; you feel happy and then suddenly a wave of darkness hit you on the blind side? Not necessarily either of those things. I mean I feel happy but depressed at the same time. 8O Like I have en...

My mood is generally even at this time, but I've still got the idea that I'm worthless and wretched, should probably not exist in this world. I have a diagnosis of clinical depression and severe anxiety, alongside my ASD diagnosis. I'm pretty used to these thoughts, and I've come to realise that wh...

What does it mean if I feel kinda happy but I also am thinking about how I am evil and should kill myself etc? My moods confuse me. PS I don't think I have a current diagnosis of depression??? My GP summary says 'depressed mood' which idk if is equivalent to depression or not. Anyway I'd say I defin...

I think it's possible that my girlfriend has that obsession over me. My advice is that it's ok to obsess but make sure you don't make the person you're obsessing over feel uncomfortable. Respect his boundaries, and he may return your feelings to some extent. He may wish to hang out with his friends...

Do any of you have people as your special interests? I.e. you will be fixated on a particular person and obsess over that rather than a TV series of trains or whatever. I get obsessions with men that seem to be different to the ones neurotypical girls have. 8O Very embarrassing and intense, and I'm...
