My social skills used to be non-existent until I became 21. That was the age, I have gotten more chances to be social so it was like practice and it worked. I can finally hold a conversation but of course, it's not perfect and it probably will never be perfect. And I am content with that, I am just ...

Most definitely, I always end up by myself during family gatherings

I am content with living with Aspergers but once in a while. I have these random moments where I stop and think about how different my life is from NTs. I always get in a world of shock since I live my life day by day and that gets put to a halt when I am reminded how unusual my reality is.

What makes it difficult for you to live your life?

For me, it is difficult because I struggle so much from sensory and social overload. Those things literally prevent me from doing things that I need to do as well as enjoy doing. Is that similar for you?

Yes, I have the same exact problems

Why shouldn’t this happen on a consistent basis in the future?

Saturday, I went to the movies with an acquaintance and we saw Hobbs and Shaw. I liked the movie and this acquaintance is becoming a real friend. So, when I was driving home I felt good because it was one of those rare times where I actually lived my life instead of just wasting another day. I want ...

Just canoodle with your “loved one” if the bullies “show up” (though they probably won’t). Assert your rights as a person in love. Most likely, they will respect that you two are lovers (especially since they probably have girlfriends, too). Let bygones be bygones, and move on from the bullying. Yo...

The bullies won’t come after you; they probably don’t even know you’re nearby. They might not even remember you at all. At worst, they probably know that doing what they did in middle school might get them arrested as adults. I saw each one over the past year or two and they all remember me. It has...

Was it the bully's first name and last name on the pizza order?

If not,how do you know it was the bully and not just someone who shared a first name or last name?

Good point, I didn't think about that (yes the name was the same)

Every Sunday, Me and my family eat domino's pizza and I was going to go to Dominos to get the pizza as usually. My sister decided she wanted to drive this time (she did this a few times before). She waited in the car as I went inside to get the pizza but it wasn't already even though the app said it...

I was in the same position as you were when I was 17 and even tho I am only 4 years older than you. I can tell you its possible to make progress, you won't be 100% fine but you can become greater than what you are right now. What helped me was beginging to work in jobs, starting doing Tinder and sta...

I have no problem with having Aspergers but when I think about how I never had legit friendships or my lack of memories to look back on fondly. I feel empty, I feel like less of a person. Of course, I am only 21 so my life is far from over but I still automatically have those feelings. What are you...

That is disgusting! It's bad enough when you have to dodge bullies every day, but talking about a family member like that is beyond the pale. Intrigue and plotting of that sort are worse than any physical abuse you can take. Plotting, intrigue, backbiting and the like are responsible for more suici...
