Use Linux Mint if you would like a computer for productive work or general use. Mint is clean, no nonsense and easy to configure. The technical Operating System stuff is best learnt when you are fiddling with embedded systems and servers.

So I've been thinking about this over the last few days and talked to my Mum and a trusted friend. I even contacted a former psychologist who gave me some really good advice. My Mum thinks the diagnosis it makes sense, as I had a lot of trouble reading social situations when I was a child. It explai...

She isn't a bad psychologist, she isn't a specialist in ADHD and ASD, so she probably doesn't know what she is talking about. She has helped me a lot with anxiety issues and emotional regulation. The psychiatrist who gave me the diagnosis of ADHD and Aspergers is an expert on ADHD and ASD. I just th...

So on Wednesday I went to see a psychiatrist who is an ADHD and Autism specialist privately on the recommendation of a local ADHD support group. The psychiatrist said I have ADHD and insisted that I also have Asperger Syndrome. I was expecting to be told I have ADHD, but after 40 mins of rather stra...

I am new here. I'm 32 years old and just got a somewhat surprising diagnosis of Asperger syndrome yesterday. I also have ADHD, so I'm like the queen of disorganization.
