In my personal opinion, sexism isn't a problem. I hope you respect my right to freedom of speech. Sexism is over emphasised by the media and is really no longer a problem in the modern world. Plus, I prefer men a bit more than I like women.

I'm predominantly concordant with what Sargon of Akkad expresses about the ideological collectivization of society through the culture wars (e.g. regressive left vs religious fundamentalist right), divide and rule isms/ologies; new social movements (NSM's), collectivist identity politics, ideologic...

Maybe it's because they'd rather not be friendzoned. I don't speak for all girls, but I don't like the term friendzoned; I prefer to look at it as being romance-zoned. 'Friendzoned' seems to imply that all male acquaintances start off automatically as potential sexual/romantic partners, and are the...

I am guilty of using suicide as a manipulation technique... Not something I'm proud of. And I have been genuinely suicidal and have some pretty severe mental health problems, in my defence. I think that whether a suicide threat is forgivable or just a nasty manipulation technique is for the respecti...

I couldn't see the picture, but it's all okay. If you learn to be comfortable with yourself as you are, it doesn't matter if you're overweight or whatever... Having a fun personality is attractive. I hate to have to say this, but it's true: insecurity about your physical appearance is counter produc...

Snowflake is cute... Perhaps a bit too cutesy, but if she's little and white, it might be a good fit. Or Diamond, Crystal, Pearly, etc. I have a three year old retired rescue greyhound named Benji. He's a sweetheart. I didn't name him, but Benji suits him. I would have named him Anubis, because he l...

Your attitude might change if and when you get a pet of your own... For a long time, I didn't think I could bond with an animal (which left me distraught, as I adore them.) It all changes when the dog or cat or bird or whatever belongs to you and is purely your responsibility. It's like having a chi...

Maybe it's because they'd rather not be friendzoned. Argh, sorry for nitpicking, but I hate that term... In my mind there's no such thing as a "friendzone". Unless the person in question literally states that they maintain a "friendzone", and clearly tell you that you are in it,...

I've been lurking on a forum for net trolls and such types, more than is really good for me, and over there they throw around "autism" and "sperg" and "sped" and the like all the time as insults directed at their targets. My worry is that NT's will start attacking auti...

I feel like I'm in a kind of emotional bathroom shower... When I'm alone, it's cold. It is initially restful but I quickly become miserable and frozen (depressed.) Then I turn the tap, just a fraction of a millimetre, turn up the heat, interact socially in the smallest way, and immediately I feel li...

Kind of weird, but I actually hate Buffy from Buffy the Vampire Slayer... because she insulted one of the potential slayers in "Get It Done" after the poor girl (Chloe) committed suicide. I was very disappointed by that episode. Also, she's a total b***h to Andrew, a character who I feel s...

Character obsessions ruled my mind for years... I think I know what you are going through, and everyone finds their own way of getting over it, but for me, real life got in the way. I'm too busy living in the real world to worry about fictional people. Reality has its own problems, but it is worth i...

The only anime I've watched with any enthusiasm is Hetalia... Yes, it's awful. But addictive.
